...Quite sentimental song for me, a nice song for the broken-hearted. I fell in love with it the moment I've heard it. I know what it feels. You know, some things are just really meant to be broken. Imperfect. Chaotic. It's how life is - we just have to accept that behind it, some people are going to stay in our hearts even when they don't stay in our lives anymore. Thanks Mauren for bringing up this song to me. I love it!

I was reading Simple Plan's foundation "Save You" and I've found out that what actually inspired this song was Pierre's brother's battle with cancer. Because this happened to someone close to them, they felt that, as a band, they had to do something to help. They had to get involved and use their voice to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

They wanted the video to tell the story of all cancer survivors. They want to show how strong people can be when facing adversity and hardship and how resilient the human mind and body can be. They wanted to relay a message of hope, survival and courage.

It's a great maturity from the first album to this. It still holds Simple Plan's emotional lyrics and sound, and that's what I love most about this song. It has to be one of the best on their new album by what I've heard.

This song means a lot for me. My boyfriend has a brain cancer. He knew he couldn't give up. I can say that he is truly amazing. Cancer turns a family's world upside down. We had to live each day preciously and with humor. We had to remember to notice how much good come out of what we were living through. He is one of my inspiration...a living proof that with support, love and personal drive, it can be won.

"Don't let darkness in. Fear is in your head. If you can clear your mind of fear, you can actually find peace in the process."
